“Don’t chase other people’s success, create your own success. Don’t give up and stay humble.” A sentence that always motivates me to work and keep fighting. I am Andika Pramudya Wardana, a child who was born in a small village on the slopes of Mount Lawu, precisely in Jogorogo village, Ngawi district. It never crossed my mind before that I could complete my studies up to doctoral level. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Surabaya State University and graduated in 2016. In 2018, I continued my Masters in Chemistry, Airlangga University and graduated in 2020. In the same year, I continued my studies at Doctoral Degree in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Airlangga University and graduated 2023. A journey that I felt was quite difficult and impossible, but God in HIS power has carried me through until now. Nothing is easy, nothing is impossible, everyone has their own advantages and paths to achieving success.
During my studies at Doctoral Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Airlangga University, I had the opportunity to take part in the Student Outbound program at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Through this program I can increase relationships and increase knowledge in the field of nanotechnology under the guidance of Dr. Che Azura Hanim Che Abdullah. There was great support provided by S3 MIPA, Faculty of Science and Technology, Airlangga University so that I could take part in the Student Outbound program.
I would like to express my thanks to my master’s supervisor and doctoral promoter, namely Prof. Dr. Nanik Siti Aminah, M. Si. and Mr. Mochamad Zakki Fahmi, M. Si., Ph.D. who always provides guidance and direction so that I can complete my studies on time. My thanks also go to Dr. Dwi Winarni, M. Si. as head of the MIPA PhD study program and Mrs. Novida Rizani, S. Si., M. Si. who always provided input and helped in academic activities while I was studying at Doctoral Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Airlangga University.
To my friends at Doctoral Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Airlangga University, keep your enthusiasm and hopefully all our hard work in gaining knowledge will become a record of our good deeds. To all parties who I cannot mention one by one, I thank you for your support and prayers so far.
