The 2022 IHC Congress was held in the city of Angers, France. The city of Angers is one of the old cities in France that has many historical buildings and is a beautiful city. The city of Angers is also known as an agricultural city in France. The opening of the 2022 IHC was held on August 14, 2022 at the Angers Congress Center building. The opening ceremony was very interesting and spectacular. The presentation was held on August 15, 2022. Each presenter was given 5 minutes to present their research results. During the seminar, presentations and scientific discussions went well and smoothly. Communication between the presenter and the audience was very good. In this activity, I gained a lot of experience and networking with many teachers and researchers from various countries in the world. Getting the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss, and introduce Indonesia was a very valuable experience during this congress. In addition, in this congress, I also met my supervisor and new friends who will work together at the UGhent Laboratory.
In this activity, not only consists of a congress event in the form of presentations and discussions, but also a technical tour to 2 seed processing companies, namely Micado and seed certification Gevers. From the technical tour activity, it increases insight and knowledge about how to handle seeds and the flow of seed and seedling certification in France before being released to the public.
With new friends from Mexico, France, Morocco, Iran and Ajarbaizan.
