Doctoral education for the MIPA Doctoral Study Program was originally under the auspices of the Airlangga University Postgraduate Program. Since 2011, based on Chancellor’s Decree Number 13\/H3\/PR\/20, the MIPA Doctoral Study Program has been placed in the Faculty of Science and Technology, coordinated by a Head of the Study Program who is responsible to the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology.<\/p>\n

In general, the aim of doctoral education at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Airlangga University (hereinafter referred to as FST-UA) is to produce a new concept in the field of interest, without ignoring morality. There are four areas of interest for PhD expertise developed at FST-UA, namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These four areas of expertise interest are hereinafter referred to as Study Interests. Each student can choose a more specific skill, namely Study Concentration.<\/p>\n

The doctoral education process in the MIPA Doctoral Study Program is designed as a combination of lectures and independent and structured research and is also designed to be completed within a period of three years. Lectures are aimed at providing a philosophical and theoretical basis so that you become a doctor who has the ability to develop scientific concepts.
